My family LOVES this book. We keep buying copies for ppl. Its a very encouraging book for ppl who want to grow in their faith walk with the Lord. It's very nitty gritty real experiences of having needs met by God in a supernatural way, but it's NOT fluffy or weird. It might seem kind of strange to say this is a book on supernatural miracles for down to earth ppl.Product details

Best book I ever read next to the Bible.
This book is about what it means to persevere in prayer. For most Christians it's probably unlike anything they have ever read before. Who would think about going out into the woods crawling into a hollow log or a haystack and praying for many days until God answers. It's written in a different time, the early 1900s is my guess, the language is a bit dated but the principles Bevington lays out are worth thinking about and practicing at any time in history.
If you read this and let it challenge you, you will find yourself wanting to pray more, and for the right reasons.
This dear brother found the secret. He said that once it took him 8 days of praying for a matter, not to get God to answer, but so that he could get himself small enough and out of the way enough for God to have room to move.

Mr. Bevington was a early 20th century "holiness" preacher. This is his story, written by his own hand, which describes the details of his remarkable life. Boiling it down to summarize, Mr. Bevington is a prayer warrior. He literally took the scripture "Pray without ceasing" to the nth degree, praying for days on end without stopping. This was his modus operandi and it unlocked the power of heaven for him. I have heard it said that "faith is the currency of heaven", and Mr. Bevington prayed without ceasing in faith because he literally believed the word of God. If the word said it, he would pray until it manifested. His stories are remarkable and enlightening. I believe this may be his only book, but an interesting book it is. In this day when we demand results instantly, Mr. Bevington worked on God's timetable, which is far different than man's.

This man lived in the early 1900's. He walked everywhere and did the remarkable miracles because he had unfailing faith. The Lord provided for his meals and his accommodations, but he mostly slept in haystacks and hollowed out logs! He went for days without eating but didn't feel hunger when the Lord put a burden on him. As soon as the burden lifted, he felt hungry!
This shows the reality of a God, the God, who hears and answers prayer in response to believing faith when once God's will in a matter is recognized.
When Jesus saved me he told me to get with "the fanatics". He brought me to Apostolics Pentecostals and I knew as soon as I got to my first service that that is where His Spirit was guiding me. This book is what every Christian needs.
I rejoiced in the Holy Spirit when Bevington said people accused him of fanaticism. I knew that God wanted me to read this book, because I want to live like the Apostles did. The author got Acts results because he knew how to fight like the Apostles.
Make no mistake-when you read this man's testimony-you will be edified, you will absolutely be filled with faith to take on the world. Praise Jesus!
