Earlier this year when I read Even the Darkest Stars I fell in love with the characters and plot and just everything about that adventure driven book. I had been anxiously awaiting this book and was so excited when December finally rolled around! This book was different from the first in that it focused more on the spell being broken and the witches compared to the first which was about the hike up the mountain and survival. I still really enjoyed this book and couldn’t read it fast enough!

Overall, I loved this book and highly recommend this duology!! It was so nice to finish this book and have an ending that didn’t take a million books to get to. I love reading Heather’s writing and cannot wait to see what other books she has in store. Her story lines are so creative. I love how she takes a concept such as witches and spins it into this whole new and unique story. Plus have you seen the covers of these books?!? I cannot get over how gorgeous they are and how beautiful they look on my shelves!

Ever since I finished reading Even the Darkest Stars I’ve been eagerly awaiting the next in the series. I spent so much time predicting what might happen in All the Wandering Light, and all my theories were wrong. This book surprised me so much in so many amazing ways and I couldn’t have asked for a more incredible sequel. It was absolute perfection.
Finishing the book was one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to do because I desperately didn't want it to ever end. From the moment I started reading it I was completely captivated. I was always eager to read more and find out what would happen next, especially since I couldn’t predict anything. It was incredibly exciting—so much of Heather’s world was completely unexpected and unique. Her books are truly unlike anything else I’ve ever read and I’m incredibly grateful to her for sharing Kamzin’s story with us.
Honestly, I’m at a loss of words for describing just how incredible this series was and how much I love it. Kamzin and River are such special characters to me who will always be close to my heart. Their story will always be with me and I will never forget them. I’m also so thrilled with how everything turned out—it was an incredible adventure and I’m so glad that thanks to Heather we were able to join Kamzin and River on it.
Again, I absolutely couldn’t have asked for a more perfect sequel and overall, the series was absolute perfection to me. Thank you so very much for sharing your writing with us Heather and I’ll always be looking forward to seeing what you’ll share with us next!
